Dresner Advisory Services Releases 2015 Collaborative Computing and Business Intelligence Market Study
NASHUA, NH—(Marketwired – Apr 30, 2015) – Dresner Advisory Services today published the 4th Edition of its Collaborative Computing and Business Intelligence Market Study, part of the Wisdom of Crowds® series of research. The report examines current and planned usage of collaborative technologies and collaborative Business Intelligence (BI). This is defined as the process where two or more individuals or organizations work together to develop a common understanding, which is then shared and used to build consensus in support of organizational decision-making. According to the 2015 edition of the study, organizations that consider themselves successful at BI and take action on insight more often use collaborative BI tools. Sales and marketing and executive management are the two functions most likely to use collaboration features within a BI tool, and report the greatest use of file-sharing services. These two groups also report the greatest interest in enterprise collaborative frameworks.
