Dresner Advisory Services Publishes Inaugural Sales Planning Market Study

NASHUA, N.H., Dec. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dresner Advisory Services today published the 2018 Sales Planning Market Study, the newest addition to its Wisdom of Crowds® series of research.  Sales Planning is the monitoring and management of information surrounding the planning activity of the sales function, sometimes referred to as revenue planning. 

The inaugural edition of the Sales Planning Market Study examines deployment and trends surrounding the use cases, adoption levels, budgets, and overall success of sales planning. It also covers sales planning features, integration, and technologies, and how these compare to overall enterprise planning trends.

According to the report, 84% of respondents score sales planning as “critical”, “very important”, or “important”, and almost half of the respondents have sales planning software in use. Largest organizations, with more than 10,000 employees, are 50% more likely to use sales planning than other size organizations.
